Overheard....

Driving home Saturday night, Leeny announced that mommy, Memaw M and Memaw J were the best cooks ever.

The Bug: snorts. Memaw J? She doesn't even cook!

Me: She cooks.

Bug: Well sometimes. She makes good grilled cheese.

Leeny: She makes toast a different way. She uses the smoke detector to tell her when it's done.

I about choked. Leeny was so serious. I couldn't quit laughing, because it is pretty true.
